Maura Donohue and Adam Cuthbert collaborate at Roulette

Roulette is such a great place. We have been covering a lot of great music happening there, but did you know that a fair share of their program is dedicated to dance? On Tuesday, October 29, Roulette presented a new installment in its [COMPOSER/CHOREOGRAPHER] series: Maura Donohue and Adam Cuthbert. We were there to snap some photos and take some vines…

The piece, called zero…sixty, examined “accelerative gestures in movement and music within varying temporal frameworks in a collective creation. 60 seconds to 60 years in 60 minutes.”

Audience members were invited to shout the name of certain performers to help them keep track of time, and were later brought at the center of the space to join the dancers.
