Another premiere on I CARE IF YOU LISTEN. Today we’re sharing The Two Halves from the eponymous debut album by Brooklyn-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Finnegan Shanahan.
Released on New Amsterdam on February 26, The Two Halves takes the listener on an epic journey from the Hudson Valley to New Mexico and… space.
The 35-minute song cycle commissioned and recorded by Contemporaneous (Shanahan is a founding member) is a fresh burst or melodies, heady arrangements, and electronics. You should preorder it.
