ListN Up playlists are commissioned by American Composers Forum. Artists are selected by ACF staff (including I CARE IF YOU LISTEN and innova Recordings).
Lia Ouyang Rusli (She/they) is a film composer and makes solo music under the moniker OHYUNG. She produces genre-shifting music that moves between ambient, experimental pop, and distorted noise. In March 2025 she released You Are Always On My Mind, a hazy, trip-hop laced experimental pop record described by Paste as “an unpredictable masterpiece” and Pitchfork as an “extraordinary burst of pop.”
A Note from Lia:
I put together this playlist of my favorite anti-fascist music. This is where my head has been recently and where I hope everyone is right now. All DIY grassroot leftist music, from hardcore punk to rap to experimental noise.

“Terror Prone Nation” by Material Support
Filipina-fronted agit punk band from NYC, agitated by state repression, government corruption, and patriarchy.” I love this band. I met Jackie at a Know Your Rights teach in at the Asian American Writers Workshop, and we played a show together back in 2018 with the Downtown Boys. Kasama punk <3.
“Dear Daddy” by GHÖSH
“ACAB, even my dad!” One of the hardest and funnest anti cop anthems ever
“The Iron Wall” by Infinity Knives and Brian Ennals, ft. FRANKI3
“Fuck the IDF, fuck the police, end of the day they’re all the same.” More anti-zionist rap please.
“FUCK ELON MUSK” by OHYUNG and Matt Evans
Self explanatory fuck that dude I’ve been saying since 2015.
“Police State” by dead prez, ft. Chairman Omali Yeshitela
“We do for self like ants in a colony / Organize the wealth into a socialist economy / A way of life based off the common need/ And all my comrades is ready, we just spreadin’ the seed.” Some of my favorite sharpest bars.
“Raid on the White Tiger Regiment” by Sunik Kim
Named after the revolutionary opera written during the Cultural Revolution which focuses on the joint struggle of Chinese and Korean communists during the Korean War. Beautiful and harsh Max MSP Noise bringing hidden revolutionary history to light.
“Another Country” by Dreamcrusher
“Building your own world is essential. Don’t deny yourself the ability to dream.” A 43 minute noise odyssey. In the NYC noise world, Dreamcrusher is mother to me, if they tell me to dream then I dream.
