INTERSECT: Featuring the Music of Billy Childs

The two-day music festival is a rare opportunity to experience some of the most sophisticated music being created today. Produced with Chamber Music America and curated by Patrick Zimmerli. Each day focuses on a prominent composer who has created significant classical and jazz works. Grammy-winning jazz pianist, Billy Childs is featured on Friday with his quartet, as well as his classical compositions for brass and wind quintet.

On Saturday, dynamic classical works, jazz, and a hip hop set are part of the musical exploration of Derek Bermel, the multi-award winning composer and clarinetist.

Summer Labs: ARIADNE + Invisible Anatomy + Late Sea

Invisible Anatomy

This Summer Labs performance features the ARIADNE, Invisible Anatomy, and Late Sea. The three were selected from a pool of over 100 applicants to create, workshop, and showcase a masterpiece they couldn’t make happen anywhere else. National Sawdust supplied their stage as workshop space in addition to financial and marketing support, all culminating in a this final performance.
