Pierrot Lunaire: A Dystopian Valentine’s
Canadian soprano Charlotte Mundy joins pianist Michael Brofman, flutist Martha Cargo, clarinetist Mark Dover, violinist Hajnal Pivnick, cellist Colin Stokes, and conductor Benjamin Grow in a complete performance of Schoenberg’s seminal 20th century work Pierrot lunaire. The evening begins with a prelude with live musical accompaniment by pianist Dorian Wallace to Luis Buñuel’s dreamlike silent film Un chien andalou.
