ensemble, et al. and the Kraken Quartet

Original music written collaboratively by the members of ensemble, et al. and The Kraken Quartet. Both groups share an interest in exploring musical techniques drawn from their love of rock, electronic music, jazz and contemporary chamber music. Blending these styles with the mindset of a more traditional percussion quartet, both groups continuously push for new and unique sonic worlds, riding the line between modern composers and garage bands. Through this music, ensemble, et al. and The Kraken Quartet strive to create live experiences that are welcome at recital halls, bars, and everything in between.
